  : 1. Location is close to many restaurants, V and A waterfront etc.2. Quiet area3. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Everyone from reception, cleaners, kitchen staff.4. Rooms are spacious , beds are comfortable 5. If you have a family or need 2 separate rooms for your stay, room 20 is the family suite with 2 rooms with interleding doors. A good option instead booking 2 separate hotel rooms.6. There were issues in my room - no shower dispenser, light bulb out in my room, loose toilet seat - I mentioned all of this to the front desk and she immediately had it taken care off. Efficient.I think the staff are the only reason this place keeps running - they are hospitable.
  : 1. We stayed for 7 nights - pool was available for use the entire time. Disappointing because the weather was great and we were told it will be sorted out the day after we checked in.2. Baby cockroaches in room 203. Fridge that doesn't cool properly4. Breakfast was dismal and repetitive - poor quality sausages, oily eggs, baked beans that tasted like it was straight out of the can and not cooked with any spices or heated (it was still the most edible item though), bacon that was salty and fatty. There were chicken strips on 1 day. We were served with 2 each. The coffee was extremely diluted - cheap quality.5. It is not equipped for self catering - no microwave in the rooms and the main office closes at 4pm so if you need something warmed after 4pm you're advised to order in instead. There are no plates or cutlery either.6. No toiletries - there was a hand wash dispenser and that was it. They installed a new shower soap dispenser for us while we were there but didn't put any soap into it.7. Terrible WiFi connection - bring your your own pocket router or mobile data. Very unreliable.8. No generator - so you sit in darkness for the loadshedding stages which is unacceptable for a so called 'luxury' guesthouse.9. Dead cockroach in guest room was swept out the next day during cleaning - there shouldn't be any cockroaches. Dead or live ones.Nothing 4 star luxury about this place and its not good value for money at all - it cost about ZAR 13 000 for the 7 night stay. The owner needs to up the game here. Facilities are basic and insufficient - not even sure how they managed to get that grading. I've stayed at 4 and 5 star luxury properties around South Africa and the world- this place is no more than 3 stars at a stretch .

  : Despite confirming what time I would be arriving, the premises was locked and not staffed at my arrival at 15:30. I was requested to visit an establishment until staff arrived approximately 18:00. I made alternative arrangements and was duly refunded the next day

  : Our leaving was well understood at the reception and the matter was handled well. No experience of the hotel otherwise.
  : Poolwater was green and dirty. We didnt stay because pool could not be used.

  : The staff , and no water to drink . No one to attend in reception at night. Was not happy at all . There was a Robbery next room and hotel was not responsible for it
